IT Security Entrepreneurs' Forum

DCPR provides PR and marketing for the Security Innovation Network's annual forum at Stanford University, and its east coast Showcase at the National Press Club. The gatherings bring together top security leaders spanning government, industry, venture capital, and entrepreneurs.

San Francisco & Washington, DC -- Adversaries continue cyber attacks with greater frequency and sophistication, presenting the US with perilous threats to its financial and banking systems, power grid, and national defense.  The development of counter technologies to protect these networks and  systems, however, are falling short due to dwindling R&D and capital funding; lethargic government procurement unable to keep apace; and entrepreneurs that are being wooed by partners outside the US.

Thel engine of Silicon Valley, which drives the development of new disruptive technologies has been disconnected from DC's 'Beltway' establishment.  To help overcome this problem, the SINE has brought together Silicon Valley entrepreneurs and government, military, and intelligence agency decision-makers to collaborate on building the next generation of cyber security solutions.

ITSEF speakers included Lt. General Keith Alexander, Director of the National Security Agency (NSA), Symantec CEO & Chairman John Thompson, top DHS and government cyber experts, academics, VCs, and CISOs.

Robert Rodriguez, the founder of the Security Innovation Network who brought together this braintrust of security thought-leaders, was recognized by CSO Magazine with its Compass Leader Award for his outstanding contributions. Robert’s creation of the IT Security Entrepreneurs’ Forum has helped build the relationships, connect ideas, and accelerate the collaboration needed for security innovation.  For more information, visit http://www.publicprivatepartnerships.org/.
